Sonic Drive-In is a highly differentiated quick-service (QSR) brand, offering a fun, retro-future look that stands out and offers customers the option to drive-in, drive-thru, or dine on the patio.

The company’s unique, streamlined delivery system is built around personalized and friendly carhop service that’s fast, convenient and more fun than the typical fast-food establishment.

In project locations in both the City of Corona and the City of San Diego, Fiedler Group was responsible for the MEP, landscape, civil and architectural design, the implementation of the owner selected interior décor package, as well as addressing entitlement requirements for the City of Corona.

In early 2015, Fiedler Group was the proud recipient of a Citation Award in recognition of design excellence, awarded by the San Fernando Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) for its work on the Corona Sonic Drive-In restaurant.

This particular award-winning project involved the partial demolition and re-branding of an existing 2,867 square foot Burger King restaurant and the addition of two canopies in the parking lot.

Fiedler Group is currently involved in the design and permitting of three more Sonic restaurants in Riverside and San Diego counties.
