On October 21st, 2013 Food 4 Less opened its newest California retail fueling facility in the Los Angeles County community of Athens.

The new facility is part of a larger site development which includes efforts to relocate the Food 4 Less grocery market to a larger location just behind the fuel station.

Located at 13553 South Western Avenue just north of the 105 Freeway, the new fuel station is the largest fueling facility built for Food 4 Less in California.

A stacked dispenser layout provides 18 fueling positions featuring three grades of gasoline, unleaded, premium and diesel. A small kiosk is located in the center of the fueling facility and offers snacks, drinks, ice and automotive supplies.

Fiedler Group provided the civil, fuel, electrical design, as well as all required permitting services associated with the new fuel facility.

Grand opening ceremonies for the fuel facility will be scheduled to coincide with the opening of the new Food 4 Less market before the end of the year.
