Clean Energy Fuels Corp. has continued to expanded its America Natural Gas Highway, bringing the total to 19 Clean Energy stations opened in 2015 which can accommodate a heavy-duty truck.
Stations have opened in:
- Atlanta, GA
- Midway, FL
- Pearl, MS
- Knoxville, TN
- Carlisle, PA
- Ruther Glen, VA
- Fort Chiswell, VA
- Perris, CA
- Lake Havasu, AZ
- Vandalia, OH
- Kansas City, KS
The new Atlanta facility can provide both LNG and CNG fuel for Class 8 trucks.
The site is located located at 5955 Bakers Ferry Rd SW, near Fulton Industrial Blvd (Highway 70) and Camp Creek Pkwy/Thornton Rd (Highway 6), and within a few miles of Interstates 20 and 285.
The site is intended to provide fuel for both local and regional fleets, while having the ability to also serve interstate traffic.
The project site consists of one 18,000 Gallon LNG tank with three LNG dispensers, as well as three GE CNG-in-a-Box compressor systems with three CNG dispensers.
In association with these projects, Fiedler Group provided all site-specific due diligence, preliminary design development, entitlement processing, site adapt design and construction documents, and permitting services.
