One of several hydrogen facilities Fiedler Group partnered with Shell, this location is California’s first hydrogen refueling station.

Los Angeles, CA

Created in 1997 by the merger of Parker & Parsley Petroleum Company and Mesa Inc., the company is an independent Fortune 500 company focusing primarily on oil and natural gas exploration and production.

Prior to this merger, Mesa contracted with Fiedler Group to develop two CNG fuel facilities in Anaheim and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

Both projects are now owned by Clean Energy.

For the LAX project, Fiedler Group’s services included site selection and real estate acquisition, fueling requirements, evaluation of competitive equipment, complete engineering, permitting, bidding, selection of contractors, and construction management in a turnkey basis.

The fast-fill fueling station consisted of two (2) Marcum Compressor packages, four (4) dispensers with eight (8) hoses, and provisions for future growth.

When constructed, it was the largest CNG facility in the nation and used by the nationwide, shared-ride airport shuttle service, Supershuttle, as well as other commercial and private entities.
