McDonald’s

Los Angeles, CA
With over 31,000 restaurants worldwide employing more than 1.5 million people, McDonald’s is a worldwide icon. So it’s easy to understand why Fiedler Group is proud to engage McDonald’s as an architectural consultant.
In 2007-2008 Fiedler Group supported both McDonald’s national image makeover in Santa Monica, Echo Park, Gardena,Compton, La Mesa, Fontana, and the McCafe product rollout in San Diego.
More recently, Fiedler Group assisted McDonald’s with a number of new build and major remodel projects throughout Southern California, including Moreno Valley, Costa Mesa, Rancho Penasquitos, San Diego, La Mesa, Fontana, Loma Linda, and Murrieta.
Fiedler Group provided a wide range of services for each of these programs including:
- architectural, structural, MEP, civil, and landscape design,
- addressing entitlement requirements, and
- extensive design review coordination with municipal planning agencies.
Since the remodel locations were operating businesses, considerable coordination was required to ensure the restaurants wereable to remain in operation with minimal impact on their ability to serve their customers.
The retrofit of the existing buildings required close attention to detail to ensure as-built conditions would support there-imaging components required by the major remodel program (MRP). As part of the MRP, all restaurants introduced newinterior décor packages and dual vehicle drive-thru upgrades.
