Sonic Drive-In, Corona

September 30th, 2014 by Fiedler Group

Fiedler Group is excited to announce the opening of a new Sonic Drive-In in the City of Corona, California.

This project is located at 1202 Magnolia Avenue in the Corona Marketplace Center just west of the 15 freeway.

The project involved the partial demolition and re-branding of an existing 2,867 square foot Burger King restaurant and the addition of two canopies in the parking lot.

Sonic is a highly differentiated quick-service (QSR) brand, offering a fun, retro-future look that stands out and offers customers the option to drive-in, drive-thru, or dine on the patio.

Sonic’s unique, streamlined delivery system is built around personalized and friendly carhop service that’s fast, convenient and more fun than the typical fast-food establishment.

The unique retro-future look includes a cultured stone tower element with Sonic signature arched dome. Ribbed metal panels and a distinctive sloped roof line and canopy with L.E.D. lights complete the retro car-hop environment.

Fiedler Group was responsible for the MEP, landscape, civil and architectural design, the implementation of the owner selected interior décor package, as well as addressing entitlement requirements for the City of Corona.

The contractor for this project was Alfredo Annino Construction, Inc. based in Studio City, California.

Fiedler Group has a second Sonic remodel project currently under construction in the city of San Diego, California and a new store in Riverside County which is in preliminary entitlement design.
