Ralphs, Woodland Hills

January 27th, 2015 by Fiedler Group

Ralphs recently opened its newest re-branded fueling facility in the City of Woodland Hills, California — the fourth fuel station which Ralphs has rebranded in Southern California.

Located at 21940 Ventura Boulevard, on the corner of Ventura and Topanga Canyon Blvd., just one block south of the 101 Freeway, this off-site location operates in conjunction with the Ralphs Market located across Ventura Blvd.

Prior to its renovation, this Woodland Hills facility was a 7 MPD station with an outdated sales and merchandising area, and unisex restroom.

The upgraded Ralphs fuel facility now features an upgraded point of sale area and two ADA accessible restrooms.

The existing underground storage tanks remained but new underground piping, dispensers, turbines, and UDC’s have been installed to meet Ralphs’ fuel system standards and state regulatory requirements.

The dispensers have been equipped with new, longer hoses and retractors for easy customer fueling on either side of their vehicle.

The existing smog testing operation located in the service bays will continue to operate under separate management.

Fiedler Group worked closely Los Angeles City Planning and its Ventura/Cahuenga Blvd Corridor Specific Plan Unit to accomplish this facility conversion and rebrand without special planning review and processing, thereby saving several months of approval processing and the related costs.

Fiedler Group provided the all civil, fuel, architectural, structural and electrical design required for this project, and additionally provided all required permit acquisition services.
