Perris Food 4 Less Fuel Station Opens

Last month Food 4 Less opened its newest retail fuel station at 1688 N. Perris Blvd., Perris.

Located on a .99 acre lot near the intersection of W. Nuevo Rd. and Perris Blvd. in the Perris Plaza, this new fuel station features 9 fuel dispensers under a 6,875 sq. ft. fueling canopy with a 173 sq. ft. kiosk, two underground storage tanks with associated fueling system components, infiltration trench and 8,200 sq. ft. of new landscaping.

Architecturally, the station features an earth tone canopy and kiosk colors, natural stone tile wainscots on both the kiosk and canopy columns, stucco finish on the kiosk walls and canopy columns, and ACM canopy and kiosk fascia with a cornice treatment.

Off-site improvements consisted of a new right hand turn pocket, new curb and gutters, meandering sidewalk, street light relocations, street work that included both new asphalt base / paving and grind / overlay, new curb ramp, channelized striping and over 2,700 sq. ft. of off-site landscaping.

Significant utility design and coordination was required to address the re-routing of an existing 36” RCP storm drain, removal of an existing 12” PVC water main, new 18” x 12” Hot Tap connection, new 12” PVC water main, new 15” x 6” sewer connection, and new 6” VCP sewer line with associated appurtenances.

Fiedler Group provided all architectural, on-site and off-site civil, structural, on-site and off-site landscape, fuel, and electrical design required for the project development.

Entitlement processing and expedited permitting services provided by Fiedler Group included all on-site and off-site development permits from the City of Perris, utility permitting with Eastern Municipal Water District, Riverside County Flood Control, Riverside County Environmental Health (HazMat) and South Coast Air Quality Management.

Construction of this new fuel station was provided by Fastech Inc. based in Buena Park.
