Newport Shell Reopening

After a much-awaited upgrade to accommodate retail sales, the 35^th Shell retail hydrogen station in California is now re-open for business. It will be open 24 hours a day and is located at 1600 Jamboree Road. This location was the final facility opening of a four demonstration station roll-out plan in Southern California by Shell, funded in part by a $1.7 million grant received by the California Air Resources Board in 2012.

Fiedler Group was responsible for the site design and system integration, station permitting, and  project management, for all four Shell demonstration stations – including the first integrated gasoline/hydrogen station in California (West Los Angeles), and more recently equipment upgrade of hydrogen pipeline fed facility in Torrance that is supplied by a hydrogen pipeline.
