Clean Energy Fuels, Perris
May 5th, 2015 by Fiedler Group
Clean Energy Fuels Corp. just completed construction and are in the final commissioning phase of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) fueling facility in Perris, CA.
Located at 19295 Harvill Ave, Perris, CA 92571 as part of the Arco Travel Center, Fiedler Group was retained to complete due diligence, entitlement, permit processing, and site adapt engineering plans for this site.
The engineering of the Clean Energy fueling site had to integrate the LNG storage and fueling lanes within the existing Arco Travel Center (reportedly the largest volume Arco station in the country), maintaining fire access, diesel fueling access, parking and on-site circulation.
The fueling facility was designed to be constructed in phases — with the first phase including one 18,000 gallon LNG storage vessel, two LNG dispensers, along with the required electrical controls and safety equipment, and a fueling canopy.
Future phases include expanding the LNG capability with the addition of an additional 18,000 gallon LNG tank and two LNG dispensers and the addition of CNG compression equipment and CNG dispensers.
This site will serve the Perris / Moreno Valley area of Riverside County, CA.
There are two sister LNG stations in close proximity to the Perris station previously built in Coachella and Fontana as well as throughout the county as part of Clean Energy’s American Natural Gas Highway initiative.
