7-Eleven “Awakens” Glassell Park With New Convenience Store
November 28th, 2017 by Fiedler Group
“Glassell Park lacks some of the big commercial corridors of its neighbors like Highland Park and Mount Washington, so it’s traditionally been a sleepier area with a residential vibe.”
(Alyssa Valentine, agent with Courtney + Kurt Real Estate commenting in LA Times,
Neighborhood Spotlight Article, Real Estate – Sept 1,2017).
On November 15th 7-Eleven delivered their latest convenience store in Glassell Park, helping to fill this neighborhood’s need for retail / commercial development.
Located at 2205 North San Fernando Road (located in median strip of on San Fernando Rd., Cazador St. & Cypress Ave.) in Los Angeles, California, this former 3,466 sq. ft. coin laundry site has been completely transformed and renovated into a new 3,466 sq. ft. 7-Eleven convenience store.
Fiedler Group provided the required entitlement processing and approvals with the City Planning Department. Further, Fiedler Group supplied all of the architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing design for this project – implementing the owner selected interior décor package as required.
The Glassell Park project is another of the many projects which Fiedler Group is currently involved with for 7-Eleven – all part of 7-Eleven’s announced plans to increase the number of stores in the United States by 10,000 in the next several years.
The general contractor for this tenant improvement project was ASI Development.
