SoCal Gas Expands CNG Public Access Network

In April of 2014 SoCalGas unveiled its first branded public access Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fueling station in Lancaster, California.
Since that time, SoCal Gas has opened stations in Murrieta, and Pico Rivera. The latest addition to the network of public access stations is in Compton which reopened for this summer.
Located at the SoCal Gas Compton Base, 1471 E. Elm Street, Compton, CA, the station upgrade included expanding the site to enhance vehicle circulation, increasing the fueling positions from 2 to 4 positions, addition of the SoCal Gas branded canopy and monument sign, and installing drought tolerant landscaping.
Working with Simi Valley based EDM Services, Fiedler contributed civil and electrical design services , as well as project entitlement processing and permit expediting.
The project contractor was American Integrated Services, Inc.
