Shell Looks to Introduce Electric Vehicle Support in the UK
September 27th, 2016 by Fiedler Group
A new report suggests Shell may be installing electric vehicle charging dispensers in its UK gas station network.
Emails obtained by the Guardian media outlet reveal discussions between the UK government and the global fuel powerhouse that would signify a turning point in Shell’s position toward consumer electric vehicle potential.
While global major fuel retailers have supported electric vehicle chargers, this would mark the first case in the UK.
The emails obtained suggest electric vehicle chargers may be introduced in Shell UK stations as early as 2017.
