In an age valuing the concept of work/life balance, a new study from Adobe finds that technology in the workplace plays a vital role in employee satisfaction.
The study of more than 1,000 office workers in the United States found that while 70 percent love their job, 81 percent noted that state-of-the-art technology was more important to them than office amenities or design.
But to the point of work/life balance, another 70 percent of participants indicated that technology actually improves this balance, rather than dampen it.
What’s more, those employees who believe their company’s office technology is ahead of the curve are twice as creative, more motivated, and more satisfied in their jobs than other responders.
