Family Dollar, San Bernardino

Fiedler Group was retained by a local developer to provide full entitlement, building, civil, and landscape design services for a new Family Dollar store in San Bernardino.

The build-to-suit project underwent a lengthy design review process with the City of San Bernardino’s Planning Department prior to its approval.

The new Family Dollar store, located at 1054 W. Highland Avenue, offers 9,180 square feet of retail sales space and includes nearly 8,000 square feet of new landscaping, with 43 parking spaces.

Family Dollar currently operates more than 7,600 stores nationwide, and is expanding into the Southern California region by leasing existing retail spaces and constructing build-to-suit projects.

In addition to the San Bernardino project, Fiedler Group is currently involved in the design and permitting of three other Family Dollar California locations: one in Westmorland, and two locations in Colton.
