Clean Energy to Provide Service to State of Hawaii
June 14th, 2016 by Fiedler Group
In a new agreement, Clean Energy Fuels Corp. will provide liquified natural gas (LNG) to Hawaii Gas.
The agreement is in-line with the state’s objective to reduce its reliance on imported crude oil.
Hawaii Gas is the state’s only franchised utility provider, and has been serving the state for over 100 years.
Thomas Young, Hawaii Gas’ Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Offer commented, “With Clean Energy LNG, we will be able to diversify our gas supply using a clean fuel improving our reliability and maintaining the quality of service our customers know us for.”
Clean Energy also announced additional agreements throughout the United States, representing trucking, transit, and refuse natural gas fueling.
