Food 4 Less, Rialto
March 24th, 2015 by Fiedler Group
Food 4 Less recently opened its newest California retail fueling facility in Rialto.
Located at 1304 E Foothill Blvd., the fueling facility services Old Route 66 which is located between Interstate 10 and the 210 freeway. The Food 4 Less Market is located just west of the fueling station within the same shopping center.
The new retail fuel station includes a new 4,968 square foot canopy with seven fuel dispensers and a 173 square foot kiosk.
Both the new steel framed canopy and kiosk have stucco finishes, decorative cornices, and accent features to match the architecture of the existing Food 4 Less store.
The fueling system includes 14 fueling positions featuring three grades of gasoline and diesel.
The kiosk is located in the center of the fueling facility and offers snacks, drinks, ice and automotive supplies.
To limit fuel delivery conflicts with peak hour customer traffic, a 30,000 gallon underground unleaded gasoline tank was installed to allow the daily fuel deliveries to be scheduled for off-peak hours.
Fiedler Group successfully acquired the required project entitlement which included both a Design Review and Conditional Use Permit.
Fiedler Group also provided the civil, fuel, electrical, and landscape design, as well as all required permit acquisition services associated with the new fuel facility.
The contractor for this project was Anaheim based RD Builders.
