Patrick Fiedler Appointed to PEI’s LNG/LCNG Fueling Systems Committee
September 9th, 2014 by Fiedler Group
Patrick Fiedler, President of Fiedler Group, has been appointed by PEI (Petroleum Equipment Institute) President, Phil Farrell, to the new LNG/LCNG Fueling Systems Committee, chaired by Scott Zepp of Consolidated Utilities Corporation.
As Fiedler Group is a leader in alternative fuel system design, the appointment of Patrick to the LNG/LCNG Fueling Systems Committee is a natural fit.
Founded in 1951, PEI is the leading authority for petroleum and energy handling equipment in 50 US states and 84 countries.
PEI first began publishing technical manuals in 1986 with the Recommended Practices for Installation of Underground Liquid Storage Systems.
Since, the association has written numerous additional manuals and is currently developing new titles.
PEI’s recommended practices and procedures are reviewed and revised regularly to accurately reflect the latest technologies and industry trends.
The manuals are available to anyone with an interest in the petroleum equipment and liquid-handling industry.
The committee which Patrick Fiedler is serving on is responsible for writing the new Recommended Practices for the Installation of LNG/LCNG Fueling Systems (PEI/RP1600), a process which is expected to take 18-24 months.
The committee is soon expected to begin the RFP process starting with the development of a publication outline that will be used as the basis for the document and solicitation of the committee consultant.
PEI expects to retain a committee consultant by the end of 2014.
