7-Eleven, Upland
May 27th, 2014 by Fiedler Group
7-Eleven — the company that pioneered the convenience store concept in 1927 — recently opened their latest ground up store in Upland, California.
The convenience store, located at 720 E. Foothill Blvd., along Historic Route 66, features signage and building design that harken back to the earlier days of travels coming from the east to California.
Fiedler Group has a history of quality client services in support of 7-Eleven store design and permitting, dating back to 2005.
In past projects (including a 7-Eleven location in San Pedro), Fiedler Group provided a wide variety of services, including Site Investigation Report, preliminary site and building floor plans, entitlement services, civil, MEP, architectural, and landscape design, permitting, and bidding for vendors and contractors.
For this location in Upland, the existing site structures were demolished and a new 3,000 square foot convenience store was installed and over 6,800 sq. ft. of landscaping was provided – almost 25% of the entire site!
Fiedler Group provided complete civil design, Water Quality Management Plan (WQMP), and landscape / irrigation design services for this new 7-Eleven location.
What’s more, we recently obtained final permits for another 7-Eleven location located in Riverside.
