Clean Energy and UPS Agreement To Provide LNG Fuel Throughout the Texas Triangle
December 3rd, 2013 by Fiedler Group
Clean Energy Fuels Corporation recently announced a multi-year bulk fueling agreement with UPS to supply liquefied natural gas (LNG) to two private UPS stations in Texas.
Under a separate agreement with UPS, Clean Energy will open three of its America’s Natural Gas Highway (ANGH) stations in Amarillo, Mesquite, and San Antonio.
The Clean Energy stations will supply fuel to the heavy duty UPS delivery trucks servicing the “Texas Triangle” (greater Houston, Dallas and San Antonio regions).
Clean Energy Chief Marketing Officer James Hager praised UPS stating “UPS has staked a leadership role by transitioning their fleet to cleaner-burning natural gas”. Hager further noted that “Opening the Texas Triangle to LNG fueling is a significant milestone in the use of natural gas in goods movement”.
Fiedler Group provided all design and permitting services associated with the three ANGH stations opening in the Texas Triangle.
