McDonald’s La Mesa, San Diego, and Fontana

In November, we recapped four McDonald’s projects Fiedler Group worked on — two new build locations and two major rebuild projects.

Now, to kick-off 2013, we’re pleased to feature three additional McDonald’s projects recently completed — evidence of a mutually-beneficial relationship Fiedler Group has developed with the nation’s largest restaurant chain.

The three major remodel projects were located in Fontana, La Mesa, and San Diego.

Since all three locations were operating businesses, considerable coordination was required to ensure the restaurants were able to remain in operation with minimal impact on their ability to serve their customers.

The retrofit of the existing buildings required close attention to detail to ensure as-built conditions would support the re-imaging components required by the major remodel program (MRP).

As part of the MRP, all restaurants introduced new interior décor packages and dual vehicle drive-thru upgrades.

Fiedler Group was responsible for the architectural, MEP, and civil design for each of these locations, as well as addressing entitlement requirements for the La Mesa and San Diego facilities.
