Ralphs, Van Nuys

On July 24th, Ralphs opened its newest Southern California retail fueling facility in Van Nuys.
Located on the north east corner of Louise Ave and Saticoy Street, across the street from an existing Ralphs grocery store,
this new, free-standing fuel station provides a five dispenser canopy and kiosk for Ralphs fuel customers.
Fiedler Group provided the civil, landscape, fuel, electrical, and offsite design services.
All project permitting was also provided by Fiedler Group including:
- City building,
- fire,
- grading,
- electrical,
- plumbing,
- landscape,
- Fire Hydrant,
- DOT,
- Off-site engineering (A),
- Off-site engineering (B),
- Storm Drain,
- Street Lighting,
- Public Works Flood Control, and
- SCAQMD
In addition to the design development and project permitting, Fiedler Group also provided consulting during the entitlement processing.
The new station enhances the community aesthetics as it was built upon a vacant lot that has been undeveloped for many years.
In addition to revitalizing this corner lot, new sidewalks with ADA access for street crossing, LED street lights and a catch basin were installed. Further, portions of Louise Avenue and the alleyway to the east of the property were reconstructed or repaved.
The facility provides both gasoline and diesel to the local community.
