Shell, Anaheim
April 7th, 2015 by Fiedler Group
Fiedler Group proudly announces the opening of a new Shell gas station, car wash, and Subway restaurant tenant improvement project in Anaheim, California.
Located at 3080 East La Palma Ave., the project included the construction of a new 50’ fully automated tunnel car wash using Ryko Solutions equipment located adjacent to an existing Shell gas station with a convenience store housing two food service sub-tenants.
The Fiedler Group tenant improvement work included expansion and renovation of the existing restrooms for ADA compliance, expansion and renovation of the existing Subway tenant space combining the two existing food use spaces into one 1,278 square foot space, and the relocation of the existing beverage area next to the Subway tenant area.
The car wash was designed to match the existing Shell convenience store materials of single scored split face CMU and metal sign band.
To reduce the site work necessary to add the car wash to the facility, the car wash was located adjacent to the existing store where a drive-thru window was installed but no longer needed. This enabled the use of the drive-thru lane as the approach for the car wash, eliminating costly site improvements on behalf of our client.
Fiedler Group was responsible for preparing the entitlement documents to satisfy the requirements of the City of Anaheim and processing of the entitlement approval.
Fiedler Group also coordinated the Subway interior design criteria, prepared the civil, architectural, structural, and MEP design documents for plan check processing of the new car wash building and subway tenant improvement in the City of Anaheim.
